First of all, here is a photo from Takenya & I's booth at the Bridal Fair--thanks to everyone who stopped by!
And while Takenya and I do spend a lot of our time together working, we had an all day sewing date last month--Takenya worked on making cute maternity shirts and I worked on a dress that was off of a horrible pattern so I don't have photos of my project that day. However, here are some photos of some aprons I've been making, my sewing workspace I finally got set up and the suit jacket I'm working on for my husband!
*My favorite apron I've made thus far...
Since making my "I will not buy clothes" vow, I have made 1 dress (a different dress then that horrible pattern), 1 skirt, and 2 aprons for myself. I've got plenty more plans in the making for more outfits--a bunch more dresses, some summer shirts and some more skirts, but now that we've got this remodel thing going, I havent had much time to sew.
*This is my sewing table and Joe's suit thus far...
My next project will be on this bad boy--it's a 1928 Singer sewing machine that my dad bought and I might trade with him (Beqa gave me an old 1960's Kenmore sewing machine in a cabinet).
Also, just for fun, here is my other sewing machine--it's a 1918 New Wilson treadle machine. I bought it with my old roommate Tasha at an antique store when it was going out of business--I love the table and use it to store my record player. I'm thinking about selling it though so that I can get a Serger. We shall see though, it's just too cool!
Anyway, that's all I've time for for now--hope you all are enjoying your Alaskan "summer"...:P

I know! yay!
Hey, I still have the bike if you want to fix it up...maybe I should take a photo of it and send it to you for to decide...
yeah, I'd love to see it, though not sure when I'll really get to see you again, life's getting really crazy..., but if you could send me a picture that would probably help a lot. :)
