So, it's been forever since I've been on here and I decided I just needed to sit down and just say that I've been so busy and that's why I haven't posted in forever! So, this post will be a bit boring, but at least you'll know what I've been up to lately...
Since my last post, Takenya and I went to the Bridal Fair--it was great to meet lots of new folks and since then Takenya & I have been meeting with many clients about their upcoming weddings. It's going to be a busy summer/fall--we've got 10 weddings thus far, but there are surprisingly still many weekends open (we are doing some Friday weddings & even a Wednesday wedding), so if you're still interested in hiring us, drop me a line at rebeccakurber@gmail.com.
Also--we moved! Yep, I know, I just made a post about my cool new office...well...I now need to make a new post about my even newer office! Joe & I moved about to North Pole this past weekend so we are still getting settled in to our new place.
I haven't done much knitting or sewing lately, but I have been on a reading frenzy--The Omnivore's Dilemma, The Revolution Will Not Be Microwaved, In Defense of Food...*do you notice a trend? I've really been interested in the food industry and I've been getting more into the living sustainably and eating mostly vegetarian/vegan thing. I'm even thinking about getting some hens this summer to have fresh eggs--how's that for hardcore? :p
Anyway, that's my quick update--I hope to get back into posting regularly again here soon...

oooh...That is so rad. I LOVE reading about food and how it works in our bodies. I'm a health nut all the way, and am really interested in sustainability and organic produce. I would love to have a garden someday.
